Paul Haley

NEW ZEALAND. An experienced Antipodean actor and voice artist

Paul is a proud Kiwi who also has great ease in going Aussie, and even Pom!  He has extensive experience in theatre, film and TV.

On stage his credits include performances all over the world, such as Tess (West End tour), Sweeney Todd (Theatre Clywd & tour), As You Like It (Nottingham Playhouse), Insignificance (British Council Asian Tour), Cinderella (Freud Theatre, Los Angeles), Chess (national tour), High Society (Victoria Palace & Leicester Haymarket), The Alchemist (Lyric Hammersmith), Of Men & Mice (Bristol Old Vic), and Oliver (national tour).

His films include Claim, A Kind of Hush, Travels With My Aunt, The Charge Of The Light Brigade, Oliver, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Experience Preferred... But Not Essential, and The Next Victim.  More recently he was in Last Chance Harvey with Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson (this time playing a Pom!).

On TV he's appeared in lots of UK TV staples including Soldier Soldier (Carlton), The Bill (Thames TV), Doctors (
BBC), Casualty (BBC), Medics (Granada TV), Eastenders, Lovejoy, Minder and Upstairs, Downstairs (LWT).  He has also had a go with several TV mini-series including The Racing Game and The Sandbaggers (Yorkshire TV).

Paul's voice work includes commercials for the Daily Express, Inter-City, New Zealand Lamb, Total Serve and County Sound, promos for Travel Channel, and corporates for Price Waterhouse Coopers, the Commonwealth Office, McKinsey Management Consultants, British Telecom, Rank Organisation, Corus Steel Plc, De Loitte Touche, BMW (GB), Ashridge College, Railtrack and Network Rail.

He's also recorded lots of documentaries including A Star To Steer By, a planetary programme with the US National Air & Space Museum (co-voiced with Sir Alex Guinness), the Intensive Care series (Channel 4), the Wartime Crime Secret History series (Channel 4), and voicing President Eisenhower in Ten Days To D-Day (Channel 4) commemorating the 60th anniversary of the D-Day landings.  His ADR/dubbing experience includes re-voicing on Diana, and voicing Robert Loggia in Jagged Edge.  He's also recorded a number of audiobook and story narrations including Runaway Parents, The Short Sharp Shock and The Guardian Angel.
