Cate has a wide range of English regional accents (Northern and Southern), Irish (Northern & Southern), USA (West, East and Southern) and Aussie accents. She is an actress-singer who trained at the Arts Educational School.
Cate's West End appearances include Home And Beauty (Lyric Theatre), Tess Of The D' (Savoy Theatre) and Into Thin Air (New Players Theatre). Cate also played leading roles in Ring Of Truth, Diana Of Dobson', Three Sisters, Have You Anything To Declare, Caucasian Chalk Circle, Whispers Along The Patio, Clock Watching and Wild Wild Women (all at Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond).
Other theatre credits include Comedy Of Errors (The Globe Theatre), Things We Do For Love (Harrogate Theatre), Barbarians (Salisbury Playhouse), Love In A Maze (Watermill Theatre, Newbury), Opera Soap (Battersea Arts Centre), The Importance Of Being Ernest (Haymarket, Basingstoke), As You Like It (Canazaro Park), Charley's Aunt (Canazaro Park), Emma (Norwich Playhouse, Horsham Arts Centre, Wimbledon Attic Theatre, Komedia Theatre Brighton), and Cinderella (Birmingham Hippodrome and Mayflower Theatre Southampton). Her voice work includes commercials for Sindy Doll, Hasbro Toys (several), Blockbuster Video, Post Office and V Tech Computers, and promos for Living, Bravo, Boomerang, Nickelodeon Junior and Discovery Kids.
Her documentaries include CBS 60 Minutes' Afghanistan and D-Day In Colour, and she' recorded corporate T-Mobile and Barclays. She' also voiced numerous characters in various animation projects including Sindy: The Fairy Princess and Vbirds, as well as computer games such as Wardevil (VO and motion-capture), DQ8 and Casino.
