Benedetta Ferraro

ITALIAN. Highly experienced Italian voice artist and presenter.

As a voice artist she is one of the most sought after female Italian VOs in the UK and has a wealth of experience in every voice platform.  She has a very wide range of deliveries - from excitable children (both sexes) and cool teenagers, to sassy or professional women, working in Italian and English.

She's voiced commercials for The Observer, The Times, British Airways, Vanish, Expedia Italy, Alitalia, Nokia, Vodafone, Samsung, Fiat, BT, Muller Amore and Levi's.  Since 1997 she has also been the official Italian female voice for Cartoon Network and Boomerang (voicing continuity, squeeze credits and promos), and regularly records the same for Discovery Channel, Bloomberg, CNN, Playboy TV, MTV, Hallmark and National Geographic.  She also regularly works for RAI (Tg1, Tg2, Tg3) as well as being the voice of JimJam TV.

Her corporate VO clients include Nortel Networks,
SAP Development Solutions, Hilton (training courses), Jaguar (sat-nav), Toyota (sat-nav), Lowrance Car Navigation, Sony PlayStation (instructional video), the BBC ITN, and a number of Italian Language courses.  She's also voiced a number of audio guides, her clients including the British Museum, Tate Modern, St Paul's Cathedral, The Louvre, Graceland (Elvis Museum), Versailles, Hampton Court, Stirling Castle, Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, and the Guggenheim Museums of New York, Bilbau, Venice and Berlin.  Her documentary narratives include Channel 4's Passengers.

Benedetta is also no stranger to character voicing: she voiced Queen Amidala for Star Wars official toys, and lots of characters for games including Metal Gear Solid, Pacman, Gran Turismo 4, Half Life 1 & 2, Star Trek, G-Police, Medieval 1 & 2, Colony Wars, Hitman, WDL, Warjets, Tetrus, Ape Escape, Destrega, Syphon Philter, Civ 3, Drakon, Global Domination, Beast Wars, Klingons, Falcon, Mech Commander, Xcom, Jak And Daxter, Cubix, and Mashed.  She's even got a little fan club in
Italy obsessed by the witch character she plays in her Scooby Doo cartoon promos (for Cartoon Network)!

Outside of her voice work she has produced and directed music shows for the pan-European Superchannel and the Italian national channel Videomusic, and interviewed on camera some of the world's biggest pop stars (her highpoint being David Bowie).  Benedetta also writes music interviews for press agency Skrufff.com and is an established international music journalist.
