Tim Driesen
FLEMISH. Actor, singer, writer & voice artist.
Tim was born in Belgium and trained at Laine Theatre Arts (London).
He has extensive theatrical experience and is probably best known playing Adrian Banks / Mark Owen in the musical Never Forget (based on the Take That song - UK tours; Savoy Theatre). Other roles include Paul in Jet Set On, Mark Cohen in Rent, Rusty in Starlight Express (UK tour), Riff-Raff and Rocky in The Rocky Horror Show (European Tour), the title role in Bat Boy The Musical (Shaftesbury Theatre), Joseph in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (UK tour), and Donny Osmond and David Cassidy in Thank You For The Music (UK tour).
He's also performed in several pantomimes including Jack And The Beanstalk, Dick Whittington, and more recently he won a VMP Award (Belgian Music Awards) for his role in Notre Dam de Paris.
On TV he's appeared in VH1's documentary Behind The Music, following the original cast of Never Forget - which he also promoted on GMTV, Loose Women and The Paul O'Grady Show. In Belgium he was seen on TV as a finalist in the country's own Pop Idol.
His voiceover work includes commercials for Pokerstars on Belgian TV, and corporate pieces for Cisco Systems and Coutts Group.
Outside of his acting, singing and voicing he also writes and performs his own pop sings, and has written a full length musical, Super Alice Smith, which showcased at Perfect Pitch 2009 (Trafalgar Studios, London).
