Takashi Sudo
JAPANESE. Highly experienced voice artist.
Takashi originally hales from Tokyo, Japan, but has lived in the UK since 1977. He has been working as a Japanese voice artist in London since the early 90s, alongside his own production company servicing the Japanese advertising industry.
He speaks Japanese with a standard Tokyo accent, and English with a mild Japanese accent (which can be switched up and down as required).
His voice work has covered most areas, including corporates for SOA, Merck, Corning, Volvo, Toyota, Aston Martin, NOKIA, NETg, GKN Nintendo, and e-Learning pieces for Apple, HP, Solidworks and DHL. His commercials include those for Cadbury's Cream Egg, AT&T and MAC Cosmetics.
He's also voiced audio-guides for Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, Hampton Court, the National Gallery, St Paul's Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, the Pompidou Centre, Versailles, the Van Gough Museum, USS Midway, USS Arizona and Yosemiti National Park.
He's recorded documentary narrations for The Japanese SM Scene (Five) and The Lost Evidence (History Channel), and sports narrations for the TV programme Mobil-1 The Grid. He's also recorded narration and characters in the audiobook Narrow Road To The Interior by Matsuo Basho (Naxos Audio Books), and game voices for Genji, Genji 2, Battle Stations Pacific and Shogun 2.
