Delia has RP, Cockney, Scots, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Welsh, Westcountry, Asian, Caribbean and accents - a highly versatile artist.
Delia trained at RADA and has worked widely in the theatre, including the West End, Hampstead, Liverpool, Windsor, Richmond, Worthing and the Library and Royal Exchange Theatres in Manchester.
Her film credits include The Road To 1984 and Doomsday At Eleven, and her TV credits, though too numerous to list in full, include Coronation Street, Sea View, Jossy's Giants, The Avengers and many more. She was also in the first production of Cider With Rosie. In addition she has done extensive radio work - plays, documentaries, poetry readings and short stories.
Delia has enormous experience as a voice artist, be it a straight read or character, child or old lady, home-counties or Scouse, she can do it all. She is also an accomplished mimic, asked regularly to do The Queen, Mrs. Thatcher, Hyacinth Bucket and many other famous voices. Her many voice clients for commercial and corporate work include Shell, The National Trust, Northwest Gas, British Telecom, AstraZenica, National Rivers Authority, Scottish Power and BBC1. She has also voiced promos for Discovery Channel, and documentaries including World in Action, All Our Yesterdays, Despatches, and was the 2 voice for What The Papers Say and the BBC's On This Day for several years. Delia is also a frequent contributor to BBC Radio 4 programmes.
In addition she is a leading specialist in presentation and interview training: she founded the Henley Centre, and she's been a partner in Public Image, working with many multinational companies teaching presentation techniques.
