Erich Redman

GERMAN. An experienced and well sought after actor and voice artiste.

He has a warm and friendly voice (usual playing range of 20-40), speaks natural Hochdeutsch (he's from near Hannover), and can do a wicked Berlin accent!  His versatility goes beyond just German character, he can do soft-sell, as well as corporate and newsreader styles.  He's also very adept at character voices such as Norwegian Explorers, Dutch Gangsters, French Arts Teachers, Romanian Terrorists, German drug dealers, Russian Killers, Austrian POW`, Moldavian Monarchists, English Vicars, and German Hussars!!

His film & TV credits include Fat Slags, Saving Private Ryan, Schindler's List, The English Patient, U-571, Charlotte Gray, Lovejoy (BBC), The Professionals (Carlton), Two Men Went To War, The Knock (LWT), In Love & War, and Mosely.  As a result of this he has worked with many of the worlds greatest stars including Sandra Bullock, Tom Hanks, Harvey Keitel, Matthew McConnaghy, Jon Bon Jovi, Matt Damon, Kate Blanchett, and Ed Bruns.  He has also worked with some of the world's foremost directors such as Steven Spielberg, Richard Attenborough and Jonathan Mostow.  Most recently he was in the highly acclaimed United 93 as one of the passengers who helped bring down the fourth 9/11 plane.  He's also been seen as the eccentric German anaesthetist Gasman in BBC2's comedy series tlc.  Erich's German credits include Der Clown, Ein Fall fur Zwei and Die Krieger.

His commercial voiceovers are far and wide, including those for such advertisers as
Toyota, One-Tel, Adidas, Fanta, Haagen-Dazs, Royal Dutch Blend Tobacco, Delta Airlines, Bitburger Beer, Energizer Batteries, and numerous trailers for BBC2.

His corporate voice work is equally impressive, with clients including Xerox, Epson, Microsoft, Compaq, Deutsche Welle TV, Threadneedle, Kwik-Fit, Direct Line, BMW, Jaguar, Mercedes, Ford, Opel, Wrigley's, Yellow Pages, Carling, Kingfisher, Oveltine, KFC, Thompson, William Hill, British Steel, Lloyds, Credit Suisse, Lego, CNN, Aero, and Anderson Consulting.
