Steffan Boje

GERMAN / PORTUGUESE. Experienced actor and VO.

Steffan trained at Ruskin College Oxford and Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.  A rather international chap, born in Angola, and raised in Lisbon by German parents.  He is 'natively' fluent in German, English and Portuguese, and fluent in French and Spanish.

Theatre credits include Another Country (
West End), Spellbound (Hayward Gallery, Peter Greenaway), Cavalcade (Saddlers Wells, King Head Theatre and tour), On The Piste (Tour), Listen to the Wind (Kings Head Theatre), and Separate Tables (Kings Head Theatre).  He's also a founder member of the Hourglass Klesidra Theatre Company, with credits for Vasco (Bagleys Studios), Marathon (Edinburgh Festival, London, Paris and Rome), Gli Amanti del Nuovo Mondo (Studios, Rome), and Bianco e Nero (Galleria Ta Matete, Rome).

His film include Aldo Moro Trilogy (Dir. Aurelio Grimaldi), La Mere Sauvage (Dir. Emma Wass), Jane Eyre (Dir. Franco Zeffirelli), This Charming Man (Thomas Schroeter), Cabby (Dir. Young Mi Lee), and Moonlight (Myoung woo Kim).  On TV he's been in Casualty (BBC), Stalag Luft (YTV), The Wanderer (Sky), Redcap (BBC), This Is Dom Joly (BBC), and Daniel Deronda (BBC).

Steffan's VO work includes extensive ADR/dubbing experience for Band of Brothers, The Innocent, Bourne Identity, Charlotte Grey, Luther, Vanity Fair,
Wimbledon, Tea with Mussolini, Harry Potter, Remains of the Day, Closer, Enigma, Foyle's War, Spooks, and The Vice.  He's also recorded commercials for L'Oreal, General Electric, Lagerfeld, Cartoon Network and Channel 4, and numerous language courses for Oxford University and Cambridge University Press. In addition he's recorded radio plays, video games, and documentaries such as World War I in Colour and D-Day in Colour.
