Lewis Rae

SCOTS & English. An actor full of warmth, energy, michief & humour!

Lewis is a native Scot from the Shetlands who also possesses and clear and youthful RP.  He is an experienced actor who can also sing and dance.  He's worked on stage, film, TV and radio.

Lewis began with the Scottish Youth Theatre and Arts Educational in
London.  His theatrical credits include Mame (UK Tour), Gatsby (Union Theatre), Flouer's O'Edinburgh (Finborough Theatre), Granillo in Rope (National Tour), Mole in Wind In The Willows (Bristol Old Vic), a season for The New Shakespeare Company (Regents Park Open Air Theatre) taking roles in Hamlet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and The Card and Someone Like You (Novello Theatre London).

Onscreen his credits include Euan (lead) in the movie Chasing The Deer, Roger in the comedy Captain Butler (series regular, Channel 4), and The Bill.

Lewis' VO work includes promos for ITV,
BBC Choice and UK Gold, commercials for Sky Sports, BT, the Scottish Executive and Scottish Sun newspaper, and corporate pieces for MacDonald Hotels & Resorts. 

His character/drama voicing includes a reading in Almost Tangible's Robert Burns Collection (see mp3 of this among his media on this page), and Donalbain in Macbeth (also Almost Tangible).  Lewis has recorded several audio dramas including one for the Tomorrow's Peaple And Doctor Who (Big Finish).  He's also been a featured reader on
BBC Radio 4's Poetry Please.
