Pierre Maubouche

FRENCH. Hugely experienced VO - deep, manly, rich, authoritative to gruff, rough & tuff!

Pierre 'The French Voice' Maubouche is an enormously versatile artist with a very broad range of deliveries, and despite now living in France he is still one of the most highly sought after French male voices over here!

He was originally a freelance ad agency copywriter and producer, creating ads for clients including Alfa Romeo, Nike, Levi's, Adidas, Guinness,
EDS and Disney.  He now boasts an extensive portfolio of VO jobs, in French and English - the latter with varying degrees of frogginess!  He can easily switch from a deep, rich, booming, tough, rough and trailer type voice, right through to sexier, lighter, cooler or softer tones.

His commercial clients include Apple, General Electric, Dell, Xbox, Kellogg's, BMW, Sony, Renault, Dell, Dolce & Gabbana, Stella Artois, HP, The Red Cross, Versace, Heineken, Amnesty International, Suzuki, Polariod, Lynx, Tesco, Kleenex, Levi's, McDonalds, Opel, Philips, Visa and Eurostar - and he's also recorded corporate pieces for many of these clients, and many more still.

He has lots of continuity, imaging, idents and promos experience - clients include ESPN, Discovery, MTV, Sky Sports, National Geographic Channel and Cartoon Network, and he was the voice of the French Apple website and the Iveco Rugby Radio podcasts.

Pierre has also voiced several award-winning games such as Guitar Hero, Heavenly Sword, Metal Gear Solid, MotoGP and Colin McRea Rally 2.  His character work extends to ADR/dubbing recordings for lots of movies including The Da Vinci Code, Casino Royale, Hotel Rwanda, Kingdom Of Heaven, Munich, Troy, Master & Commander, Shooting Dogs and Vanity Fair.

He records both from his own broadcast-compliant studio via TBU or Source Connect, or from
Central London studios if projects warrant it.
