DANISH. Experienced actress and voice artist.

Rikke speaks standard neutral Danish (with facility in regional accents), conversational Swedish, Norwegian and basic German.  She trained as an actress at the Bristol Old Vic and has since worked in TV, theatre and voice-overs.

Her TV credits include appearances in Casualty (BBC), Guide To Adultery (HTV), and The Vanishing Man (Meridian).  She has also recorded radio plays with the BBC such as Macbeth.

In theatre her credits include Ophelia in Hamlet and Inge in In Bed With Magritte (both at the National Theatre Workshop), Miss Beastie in Sleeping (Watford), Guinevere in Crazy Christmas Cabaret (Copenhagen), Shanan in Underbelly (Winner, New London Play Festival 1998), and KK in Kleopatra's Kat (Corona Danseteater).

She has worked in voiceovers extensively for over 10 years, doing everything from commercials, corporate films, radio, CD-ROMs, to cartoons and promos for television.  Her jobs include commercials for Carlsberg Export, Tetley, Electrolux and Ikea, promos for Fox Kids Scandinavia, BBC Prime, National Geographic Channel and Sky, and continuity for TV3 and Fox Kids Scandinavia. 

Rikke's corporate clients include work for TV3 (translation work), Fox Kids Scandinavia (translation work), Lufthansa (in-flight information) and Massey Ferguson (instruction manuals), and CD-ROMs for Omo, Sophie's World and Woof Woof the Wonder.  She's also recorded English Language tapes.

Outside of acting and voicing Rikke is an avid musician: she has a very good singing voice, especially in jazz, and she can dance, play the piano and guitar.  She also specialises in telling stories written by Denmark's most popular writer HC Andersen.
