JAPANESE. Far Eastern Überthesp and highly experienced voice artist.

Togo trained at the Actor's Theatre and Toho Gakuen Drama College in Japan and was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company from 1986 to 1988.

His films include The Last Samurai, Code 46, Noche de Reyes, Topsy-Turvy, The Tribe, and Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wired Shut.  On TV he has appeared in Murphy's Law, Karaoke (Dennis Potter), and Murder Most Horrid.

He has voiced commercials for All Nippon Airways, Bravo, Chessington Zoo, Evening Standard, FIFA, Honda UK, Japan Air Lines, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Mu
ller, National Lottery, Volvo and Suntory Whisky, and voiced numerous documentary pieces for Tomorrow's World, The Late Show, Heart of the Matter and Timewatch.

His corporate clients include Adidas, Airbus, Birmingham City Council, BAe, Central
Office of Information, Intercontinental Hotel, Manchester Airport, National Heritage, Nissan UK, Rolls Royce, Subaru, TNT, Visa, Volvo, Warner Brothers and Waitrose.  His games include Total War, Ninja, Colin McRae Rally, Star Wars, Tinky Tank, Trickstyle, Urban Chaos, Solid Designer and Shogun.  Most notably he was nominated in the 2012 BAFTA Games Awards, for Best Performer in 'Total War: Shogun 2', performing the roles of Diplomat, Advisor and Military General.

Togo's voice work also extends to language courses for Accelerating Learning Systems, BBC Japanese Course, Linguaphone, Longman and Oxford University Press, and audio guides for Beatrix Potter, the Crystal Maze, Epsom Racecourse, the National Portrait Gallery, The Tower of London and the Van Gogh Museum.

Togo also has experience in scriptwriting and translation.
