Ideal Husband (Theatre Clwyd),
the title role in Synge's Deirdre Of The Sorrows (Riverside
Studios), Uncle Vanya (National
Studio), the Guardian Award-winning Words From the World's End (Edinburgh Festival), and various
musicals including Martha in the cast
recording of Ride, Ride opposite Keith Michelle. She is an Associate Artist of London Classic Theatre with whom she has
toured the UK and Ireland in Charlotte
Jones' comedy Humble Boy and Joanna Murray-Smith's thriller Nightfall.
Catherine also works as a writer and director.
As a director she works mainly in comedy and new writing. She is currently working with stand ups Suzy
Bennett - Dancing on Thin Ice (The
Pleasance) and Mary Bourke - Muffragette
(The Stand) both in this year's
Edinburgh Festival. Her first full
length stage play Infinite Riches
recently ran at the Old Red Lion and is published by Playdead Press. Other writing includes work at the Bush,
Theatre 503, the Arcola, the Pleasance, comedies at Soho Theatre, a comedy
award at Manchester's 24:7 Festival, and three Dr Who audios.
Her film and television credits include Melody in Oscar & Lucinda
(with Cate Blanchett
and Ralph Fiennes), Five's
Nominated series Wing And A Prayer. Other TV work includes Emmerdale, Red Dwarf, Judge
John Deed, Casualty, Where The Heart Is and the mini series Restless (BBC/HBO).
Catherine's voice work includes commercials for Now Magazine, Daily
Express, Daily Star, OK Magazine, Evening Standard, Loot,
Britannic Insurance, Halcro, Trebor, UPS, American
Express, Bernard Matthews, Cross
& Blackwell, British Heart Foundation and Scottish Power.
She has recorded continuity for BBC TV, idents for Channel
4, was the signature voice (continuity) for the True Movies, True Movies 2
and True Entertainment channels, and
voiced promos and features on Daybreak

Catherine has narrated extensively for BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4 on programmes including Poetry Please, With Great Pleasure, The
Verb, and Night Waves,
as well as acting in many radio dramas, the comedy series Bangers and Mash and Dr Who,
and recording several audiobooks for Harper Collins / Oakhill Publishing.
